In a world committed to the promotion of health and well-being, rehabilitation nursing plays a crucial role in addressing societal challenges.
The “4th International Congress of Rehabilitation Nursing: From Research to Practice” wishes to highlight the dialogue between evidence and practice to improve health care and system sustainability and aims to be a space for sharing and reflecting on how research informs clinical practice and how real-world challenges inspire research. It is also an opportunity for health professionals, researchers, students, and other stakeholders to explore recent advances and new approaches to rehabilitation nursing. The program covers a wide range of topics, from theoretical and methodological developments to case studies and best practices. It will include plenary sessions with international experts, interactive workshops, lectures, and oral and poster presentations to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences. The focus will be on the development of innovative care strategies adaptable to different contexts and populations, with an emphasis on dignity and person-centered care.
The 4th Congress aims to promote a scientific exchange between UICISA: E researchers who will present their research projects and results, ESEnfC professors who teach in the Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Rehabilitation Nursing programs and develop activities in community extension projects, and nurse specialists in rehabilitation nursing who carry out development and research projects and provide user-centered clinical care.
Therefore, participants are invited to contribute by sharing research, experiences, and perspectives on the future of rehabilitation nursing. More than an academic event, the 4th Congress intends to be a testament to rehabilitation nursing's ability to innovate, inspire, and impact the health of individuals, families, and communities.
NursingRe_Hub
In addition to this congress, the ESEnfC Scientific-Pedagogical Unit of Rehabilitation Nursing intends to create a collaborative network in rehabilitation nursing that is focused on facilitating exchange, discussion, and innovation. It aims to bring together nurses working in the different areas of rehabilitation in Portugal, as well as nurses from other countries with similar interests and work areas. The primary goals are to facilitate the exchange of experiences, promote the dissemination of best practices, and encourage collaborative research projects aimed at advancing rehabilitation nursing practice.
Rehabilitation is an evolving field where challenges and opportunities coexist. This collaborative network provides a privileged space for professionals who face these challenges and are committed to building solutions and generating practical and scientific knowledge with a positive impact on patient care.
At this inaugural meeting, we will identify common needs and goals for each area and define strategies to strengthen evidence-based practice and foster inter-institutional and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We invite all participants to join the dynamic and innovative NursingRe_Hub network by joining one of the work groups and contributing to the advancement of rehabilitation nursing from a collective and collaborative perspective.
We can work together to build a stronger and more impactful future for our professional practice.
We invite you to join us for three days of learning and sharing where research and practice go hand in hand.
