In a week shorter than usual (due to the holiday on Monday), students and teachers of the White Ribbon Project had a lot of work to do and will participate in three distinct initiatives.
On December 10th, they will be in Lisbon at the Symposium “Human Rights Education in Portugal: watching the present, thinking of the future”.
Within the scope of this symposium, included in the activities of the 60th Anniversary of the Human Rights, the group of the Nursing School of Coimbra participated in the thematic workshop “Human Rights Education and Theatre of the Oppressed”.
On December 12th, students and teachers from the White Ribbon Project were invited to the launching of the competition “Our school for non-violence”, an activity promoted by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality in collaboration with the General-Directorate for Curricular Innovation and Development of the Ministry of Education, within the scope of the National Campaign Against Violence in Dating Relationships. The launching of this competition took place in the Faculty of Economy of the University of Coimbra.
Finally, December 13th, a group of ESEnfC students involved in the White Ribbon Project presented the play “You still know me” (Theatre Forum) in the International Lisbon Fair (Parque das Nações) destined to the presentation of projects developed by the institutions represented in the Futurália, Fair of Youth, Qualification and Employment.
On this same day, another group of ESEnfC students from the Workshop on Expressivity presented, also in Futurália, the play “Responsible Sexuality”.
