Welcome to the 3rd Conference on Nursing Research of Ibero-American and Portuguese-speaking Countries that takes place from 2012 June 12th to 15th in the city of Coimbra, Portugal.

This Conference is organized by the Research Unit of the Nursing School of Coimbra, which is accredited by the Foundation for Science and Technology.

This is the third edition of this Conference, which hopes to become a reference among the international outreach initiatives promoted by the UICISA-E, which aims to share the knowledge produced in education and health research.

This Conference, which was also held in 2007 and 2009, is to be held on a biannual basis, thus strengthening the Ibero-American and African nursing research network.
