Workshop 3 – Institutional participatory assessment

Trainer - PhD Professor Denise Leite

In Participatory Institutional Evaluation (PIE), knowledge is seen as an epistemological instrument of political thinking and intervention in the public space of institutions. Therefore, evaluating means identifying to preserve the meaning of human dignity, ensuring the right to participation, and valuing the individuals’ empowerment.

In PIE, the individuals take a conscious and deliberate initiative to self-regulate, self-judge, self-criticize their actions and the ‘home’ where they live, its contents, its surroundings, getting to know those who enter and leave their ‘home’, what they produce, their processes, and outcomes.

In this workshop, we will analyze these interventions and methodologies, providing examples and other practical cases of PIE through videos and other materials.
