The International Collaboration for Participatory Health Research (ICPHR) in partnership with the International Action-Research Network (RIIAC) invites you to participate in the pre-congress scientific activities of the 5th Congress on Nursing Research of Ibero-American and Portuguese-Speaking Countries organized by the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing (UICISA: E) and the Nursing School of Coimbra, Portugal.

SCIENCE SYNTHESIS AND EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE
Coordination: João Apóstolo
This meeting falls within the strategic focus of the UICISA: E on Science Synthesis.
We will present the work developed by the international network of the collaborating centers of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) and the processes of integration and implementation. We will also share the results of the activity carried out specifically at the Portugal Centre for Evidence Based Practice: A Collaborating Centre of the JBI (PCEBP).

This meeting falls within the strategic focus of the UICISA: E on the development of experimental and applied research in care technology.
We will share the results of innovative projects in care technology. We will present the ongoing research on alternative therapeutic and care approaches to traditional health care.

RESEARCHERS’ TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE AND CLINICAL ACTION

This meeting falls within the strategic focus of the UICISA: E on the empowerment of researchers, taking into account the advance research cycle (RR/MSc/PhD/Post-doc).
Principal Investigators with experience in the supervision of advanced research and the Scientific Coordinators of the Scientific-Pedagogical Units will attend this meeting.

SCIENTIFIC WRITING, EDITION AND COMMUNICATION OF SCIENCE
Coordination: Manuel Alves Rodrigues
This meeting falls within the strategic focus of the UICISA: E on the dissemination of scientific knowledge. The editorial policies and the strategies for transmission of science will be discussed.
Professionals with experience in editorial management, revision and scientific writing will attend this meeting.
