Learning objectives

1.To develop further knowledge on the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system
2.To understand the importance of biomechanics in the study of human movement
3.To identify and relate some musculoskeletal changes in an individual with orthopaedic and traumatological disorders
4.To identify and substantiate Rehabilitation Nursing care in an individual with musculoskeletal alterations
5.To describe the planning, provision and assessment of Rehabilitation Nursing care for an individual with musculoskeletal alterations
6.To develop knowledge on people, team or institutional consultancy on matters related to the rehabilitation and integration of victims of musculoskeletal alterations
