Evaluation Method

The assessment in each Course Unit will be previously defined and then informed by its Coordinator to the students. Typically, students are evaluated on a 0-20 scale and approved for the Course Unit if they obtain a classification equal or higher than 10 points. Depending on the course unit and the defined criteria, continuous evaluation will be based on one or several written exams and/or on the presentation and discussion of scientific papers and research project proposals. In the course units "Thesis Project" and "Thesis", the students' learning outcomes will be assessed by a jury composed of experts in the scientific area addressed by the thesis work. The assessment method of each course unit is stated in its course unit file (FUC). The final classification is presented on a 0-20 scale, except for the "Thesis" that is evaluated qualitatively.
