The Project “Poliempreende” has the following goals:

• To stimulate the changes of the academic organizational culture, with the participation of the whole community;

• To make the school community aware of the importance of the development of entrepreneurial competencies, preparing the students for the performance of duties at any level within an organization;

• To encourage the development of entrepreneurial competencies aiming at the creation of a technological culture, making people aware of the necessity to equate other alternatives to the traditional culture in force and to integrate the labor market as an employed person;

• To encourage the economic exploration of knowledge, competences and research results; 
  

• To stimulate applied research oriented towards the market, as a way to constitute innovative companies with growth potential;

• To encourage the change of pedagogical methods and practices through the mediatisation of the actions and results obtained in the Workshops-E.

• To promote innovation as the objective of the competition, with the participation of all Portuguese Polytechnic Institutes, ensuring a greater coverage, visibility and impact;

• To promote the discussion of entrepreneurship within the school community, making the students aware of the importance of the entrepreneur career and of the development of fundamental competencies.
