Two students attending the Post-Licentiate Specialization Course in Community Nursing of the Nursing School of Coimbra (ESEnfC) gained the first prize of the poster competition integrated in the VIII Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Association of Primary Health Care Nurses on “Women and Child Health”, which took place at the Nursing School of Lisbon – Campus Artur Ravara on April 23-24, 2009.
The winning poster is entitled “Nursing Appointment: School Health Global Check-up 5-6 years" from students Patrícia Pinto and Rosário Cavaleiro under supervision of teacher José Hermínio Gomes and nurses Fátima Claro and Rosa Simões, within the scope on the internship on Primary Health Care in the Health Centre Figueira da Foz, Health Unit Cova da Gala.
