The content on physiology, pathophysiology, assessment and prognosis contribute to the achievement of objective 1.
Associated with the knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, assessment and prognosis, the contents on therapeutic and rehabilitation Programmes contribute to the achievement of objective 2.
All content that addresses the quality of life and nursing care in rehabilitation nursing, aim to achieve objective 3.
The full integration of all the contents in this Curricular Unit enables the students to achieve the objective 4.

The theoretical classes are mainly lectures, whenever possible, appealing to reflections encouraging explanation of the importance of knowledge in study and reflecting on past experiences of the trainees in the light of the theoretical concepts.
Theoretical-practical classes use models and simulators, in-lab clinical practices, simulations and practical demonstrations, integrating various knowledge. Some classes include case studies and theoretical scenarios or others constructed from the experiences of the students. The students should be active participants.
The test evaluation includes a written exam and may also include a report or individual or group essays to be defined in the beginning of class in agreement with the students.
The exam evaluation includes only one test with theoretical-practical questions.

In a context of adult education, all nurses with more or less diverse professional backgrounds, where there is a variability in attendance and in motivation regarding the topics developed in this Curricular Unit, we consider that the methodology proposed is the most appropriate.
We propose a series of lectures, presenting the theoretical foundations of the subjects of the programme, a set of theoretical-practical classes using various models, clinical practice laboratories and practical simulations integrating various knowledge. In some cases there are questions in a worksheet or topics to analyse the anatomic models. An online interactive test tool is used and there are 3 tests on various parts of the content in order to stimulate students to study and develop. There is an additional class in the clinical context.
Laboratory classes include demonstrations of specific techniques associated with the implementation of these techniques carried out by students.
