Learning objectives

In this CU it is intended that students attain the following objectives:
To describe the procedures to be carried out in an emergency situation;
To identify situations involving obstetric and perinatal urgency/emergency;
To differentiate situations involving obstetric and perinatal urgency/emergency;
To characterise situations involving obstetric and perinatal urgency/emergency;
To describe procedures to be adopted in situations involving obstetric and perinatal urgency/emergency.
These objectives should contribute to the development of EE-ESMO Common Skills and the following EE-ESMO Specific Skills:
H2-Caring for women within the family and community during the prenatal period;
H3-Caring for women within the family and community during labour;
H4-Caring for women within the family and community during the postnatal period;
H7-Caring for the target group (women of childbearing age) within the community.
