PSYCHOPEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT AND CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

The Clinical Psychology consultation assesses, diagnoses, and acts on mental illnesses and behavioural, cognitive, and emotional changes. This consultation offers psychotherapy or psychological support, being adjusted to the clinical assessment of each person or situation.

Within this context, the psychopedagogical support consultation aims to identify and act on learning difficulties which can result in academic failure. The purpose is to conduct an evaluation to establish the main difficulties of the student and seek to diminish them with an intervention plan.

 

Its areas of activity are:

- Learning difficulties, speech disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia,...), attention or focus stimulation, study methods and techniques, time management, among others.
