ESEnfC students visited the House of the Poor in Coimbra
On December 22nd, students from the Nursing School of Coimbra participated, in collaboration with the Portuguese Foundation of Cardiology – Centre Region, in a blood pressure-sugar screening of about 50 people attending the House of the Poor in Coimbra.
These people, aged 65-96 years old, also heard health advices given by four final-year students of the ESEnfC who went to the temporary facilities of the House of the Poor in Praça do Comércio, together with Professor Marina Montezuma.
A gesture of solidarity of the ESEnfC with a population lacking basic services and with mobility difficulties.
